CEMLab co-organises SSD'2025, the 22nd International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals and Devices

From 17 to 20 February 2025, the University of Sfax and CEMLab (ENIS) co-organised the 22nd IEEE International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices in Monastir, Tunisia.

CEMLab co-organised, together with the University of Sfax, the 22nd IEEE International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD'2025), held in Monastir, Tunisia, from 17 to 20 February 2025.

SSD is an international forum for research, development and applications in electrical engineering and information technology. The 2025 edition brought together four conferences:

  • SAC — International Conference on Systems, Automation & Control
  • PSE — International Conference on Power Systems & Smart Energies
  • CSP — International Conference on Communication, Signal Processing & Information Technology
  • SCI — International Conference on Sensors, Circuits & Instrumentation Systems

Held with IEEE technical co-sponsorship, the programme covered automation, sensors, energy, communication and signal processing. It also included a PhD student contest in which doctoral candidates presented their research in three minutes. The proceedings appear as 2025 IEEE 22nd International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD).

CEMLab researchers presented several papers at SSD'2025, including:

  • Advancing Medical Image Analysis with Feature Fusion Deep Networks for Disease Classification — Nabil Derbel
  • Design of Nanorobots for an Early Detection of Alzheimer's Disease — Nabil Derbel
  • Robust Fractional Order Sliding Mode Control against Parameter Variations with Application to SCARA Manipulator Robots — Nabil Derbel
  • Microcontroller-Based Implementation of the DRT for Bioimpedance Spectroscopy — Nour Ammar, Nabil Derbel
  • Energy Management of a Hybrid Generator (PV and WT) for a Domestic Load Connected to the STEG Grid — Samir Arfa, Mohsen Ben Ammar, Mohamed Ali Zdiri, Hsan Hadj Abdallah
  • Power Stability and Control with Neural Network-Based Modelling — Wissem Bahloul, Mohamed Chtourou, Nabil Derbel
  • Deep learning YOLOv5s Model for Tiny Pests Detection — Ramzi Habtoul, Nadia Smaoui
